Ilofe 05 dvd question

Does anyone know if the Ilife 04 external DVD hack works in the o5 version?

I am buying a new dvd burner and want to know if I can use it in my firewire enclosure as my superdrive is to slow.

Any help would be appreciated

Never mind, I realised you can save the image to a project file and burn it on an external drive.
