I'm A New User To The iPhone 3Gs, I Have Questions On Jailbreaking.

Hello All. I Am New To The iPhone. Well To Be Honest, I'm New To Apple It Self. I Use To Have A 2 Gen iPod Nano, But You Don't Need A Brain To Work That. I Recently Just Purchased A iPhone 3Gs 16GB. I Am 15 Of Age, And Everyone I Know Jailbreaks There iPod Touch And iPhone. I Was Wondering If I Should Do The Same? Will It Void My Warranty? Slow Down My iPhone? Possibly Crash My iPhone? If It Isn't To Much, I Would Like To Know All The Goods And Bads About It. Also I Got About 10GB Of Music On It. Thanks Guys.


I Am A Kid Coming From Blackberry For The Last 3 Years, And Switching To The Apple Side, Hopefully It's The Better Choice.

I suggest playing with it for two weeks before deciding. It may not be worth it, but that's really your call. I don't have a need to jailbreak.

Well I Really Only Want Themes And A Background. But If I Jailbreak It, Will It Mess Up My Warranty?

I Was Wondering If I Should Do The Same? Pretty much up to you, but you'll probably not regret it. Definitely enables you to do much more on your phone.

Will It Void My Warranty? Yes, but you can restore it and you'll be fine.

Slow Down My iPhone? Depends on how much junk you put on your phone.

Possibly Crash My iPhone? You get crashes every once in awhile, mostly from running out of memory. The phone reboots and you go n your merry way.

If It Isn't To Much, I Would Like To Know All The Goods And Bads About It.
