I'm in the UK so I guess these ads are regional but... it is necessary to have "I'm a PC" and Windows ads all over the main website and the forum header? It seems inappropriate.

There are probably more Windows users on this site than Mac users.

I think the ads are annoying as hell.

"You must be this old to share photos! I'm a pc and I'm 5 years old!"

Ok my 5 year old better never be sharing photos of any kind to people on the internet.

"You must be this tall to do a photo stitch. I'm a PC and I put it all together!"

Ok, thats nice and all 'cept for the fact thats NOT a photo stitch. Not only would that picture not need to be a stitch whatsoever but your not going to be able to realign the camera even with good pano gear on your tripod and keep the kid still enough for you to do that to do a photo stitch.

Nice try ad but next time pick a better lie.

Lol I have no clue why those ads bother me so much.

If you're like me, it's because you know they fool a lot of people. I guess it's silly to expect truth in advertising, but it can still be annoying.

I think you hit the nail on the head. If they advertised computers w/o the fibs then I don't think Id hate them as bad.
