Wow I had no idea this was a real thing and that people were hurt, I thought it was a scene from a movie for memes or something like that. I really had no idea. Thank you for sharing the full story with me. It's crazy how how desensitized we become from the things we hear/see on the internet.

On topic though, this picture does summarize how I feel about the apple maps app. I've heard rumors that you can still get google maps on your phone. Is this true?

You can use Google Maps in Safari, and apparently there's a Google Maps app either in the works or currently under approval at Apple.
