Is it me or is the 13" MBP the exact same as last years?

I thought it was supposed to be thinner:confused:

These "geniuses" are telling me this is the 2012 version but looking at the "about this mac" section it clearly states "late 2011"

Quick, post on a forum!

But really, yes the form factory of the 13" and 15" pro is the same, just upgrade internals

The new thinner model is the 15" Retina. Ask to see that one. Much different

I was in the Apple Store earlier today, and they didn't have the new machines on display yet. So chances are, you ARE looking at last year's models. Not that it matters - the 13" just got a spec bump, no design change.

There is a 2012 model of the 13" MBP. It has a slightly improved processor, slightly faster memory, and USB 3.0. The form factor and screen are exactly the same.

If it says in About This Mac that it's a late 2011 version, then it's a late 2011 version, not a 2012 version.

If you want a fast, thin, 13" laptop with a high res screen, look at the new 2012 Macbook Air. Should be on one of the tables nearby.

Do we get additional icloud space with applecare purchase?

I could have sworn i read o heard that somewhere.
