I'm avoiding my iPad mini 1 now that I have my 5s.....

Anyone else done this after getting a new iPhone? Even though the screen is smaller than the mini, it is just so much nicer feature-wise and waaaaaaaaaaaaay faster!
I'd think that id want a new iPad, but I really just kinda want to use the iPhone. Makes me wonder if the 6 Plus would be a good two in one device. Loving my 5s and mini combo now though.

Yeah the big screen of the iPad is nice; but when you have an even bigger screen on a laptop, and a nice iPhone with up to date features, the iPad becomes not so necessary.

This must be your first iPhone. I and others have never gotten into the iPad because of the iPhone, whereas some people ditch the iPad only after upsizing to the 6+.

Actually no I have had an iPhone for a year. And an iPod touch before I got the iPad.

And some still prefer their iPads even when they have the latest phone.

My rMini & my husband's iPad Air see as much usage as they have over the last year. Getting the 6 didn't change that, just as getting the 5 didn't change our usage of the original iPad.

The iPad mini is the only ipad we ever had. I held off for this long because my gut told me it would just gather dust. Wife insisted on getting one so I bought it for her two Christmases ago. There isn't a single piece of technology that I've ever purchased that we've used less. We both tend to go for our phones. Now that I have a 6 plus I don't see ever even thinking about an iPad again unless apple adds some unforeseen exclusive software or capabilities to the iPad line.

Cause it is much newer tech than what I have in the mini. I came from a 4s.
