IM+ buddy icon issues?

Anyone having this app erase your own buddy icon with the standard IM+ icon every time you log off the app? Kind of annoying. Anyone know a fix? I tried setting my icon on AIM, iChat, etc... but it keeps erasing it. Its just in the app though, everyone else can see my icon, but i have to see that ugly IM+ one.
