ok.
i have the HP photosmart C4680 installed on my Vista computer (this is not a wireless printer). and im trying to print using my MBP (via shared printing)
i have used the following sites:

im not getting anywhere.. it just wouldnt want to print!!

help please!!!

EDIT:
this is the message im getting when i try to print:
connection failed: NT_status_bad_network_name

but i did what the apple support said?

Those two helpful guides assumed you have the "right" print driver.
Unfortunately, there are two types of driver on OS X - "CUPS" drivers and monolithic (self-contained) drivers. Manufacturers of non-postscript printers have opted to provide the monolithic type. That means they get to control which comm protocol is included within the driver. USB printers get USB-only drivers. (By the way, Brother is the only manufacturer to provide CUPS drivers)
You need a CUPS driver for your printer to use Windows/Samba printing.

which one am i to download? or all three?

i just downloaded the first one the package and installed it. when i chose that one (going according to the process)-- CUPS driver... it says that the product has an update, etc. imm so confused!!
