forgive me if i seem to be asking this a lot but i don't understand this: when they say iPad mini is sold out for pre order does that mean there won't be any at the stores next friday? or is store stock separate from whats being sent out/sold out today?
i planned to get up at 4am next friday to get to Apple..

That's for online ordering. You'll be fine.

Just means you can't preorder it online. The stores will still get their stock on time.

There are different stock for new products. Stock for online orders, stock for preorders and stock sent to each store daily for the ner...guys who line up each morning.
