I'm desperate for my new Mac Pro. Help. I usually capture 1080p60 or 4k60 h264 video capture using the Avermedia Live Gamer 4K and Ultra video capturer. Edit my FCPX videos on Mac Os X Catalina. In another forum thread I told you my problem with editing h264 files in the mac pro and the need to prerender or transcode.
I bought a 5700XT to improve the 580x and make the leap to 4k60. First I bought the 5700XT which improved the editing a lot, but in bootcamp it gave me some driver problems, but in the end everything was fine. It captured 4k60 h264 with the avermedia 4k capturer on Windows 10 (bootcamp) and used 86% cpu. I just had one problem and I was hearing an annoying overlapping noise on mac os x. As I bought it on Amazon I returned it at no cost.
Yesterday I bought the Radeon VII for the same purpose, but nothing. On Mac I've improved in editing, but I still hear the same annoying noise when I play sounds on the OS. Surprisingly this sound disappears when I record screen with QuickTime or record with Avermedia Recentral. The audio output of the Mac Pro is not only heard by the TV (HDMI output from the gpu). Although I hear it, it's not recorded in the gameplays. Also when the video is finished with FCPX, no noise is heard. Desperate. In Windows 10 the perfect drivers, the first, but when I record with Recentral 4 4k60 h264 the GPU uses 100% encode and the recording goes to pull. Not powerful enough Radeon VII to encode h264 4k60? 5700XT if I did, but I thought that to edit 4k I could use the Radeon VII. I don't know what to do. Maybe for what I make a PC is a better solution. What can I do?
Thank you

why not try editing in windows 10 on the mac? You can get a trial of adobe premiere or davinci resolve.

Maybe the gpu drivers are better for windows?

Or buy another Radeon VII and run 2 gpu to see if that helps.
