*sniff* Playing Everybody Hurts in the background just makes this even sadder. Such a powerful song that truly shows the sadness of this situation. I shed a tear for this young girl.

Spoiled bitch. :D

mtv is not about music anymore, it's about teen pop culture (which occasionally means fluff music). besides, i never watched the station, it sucked.

and this child is spoiled like nothing else. i think we have alot of these running around, and won't know what to do in a few years...

I hope she wrecks the car she does end up getting and it is irreplaceable and she gets sued for millions.

her car was wrecked actually. she settled for an Infiniti G35 Coupe.

37 - Audrey Reyes of Miami, Florida(quince)
Party theme: Fashion
Car gift: Lexus SC430
Performer: Los primeros
Special Features: Audrey does not approve of both dresses that were custom made for her, saying they made her look like a "fat princess". During the dress fitting for her court, she told one of the girls that she needed to lose weight, causing the girl to cry. When she goes to a rehearsal with her court, her mom suprises her with the Lexus car. Audrey, wanting to receive the car at her party, throws a temper tantrum and calls the party off. The next day, she realizes that she overreacted and apologizes, and decides to continue with the party. Regardless of her apology, she didn't receive the car she made a fuss over. During an episode of "My Super Sweet 16 Remix" it is revealed that she got the Lexus SC430 in the colors she wanted, but the car was totaled when her brother drove it out. So instead she got an Infiniti G35 Coupe.

I rejoice in the fact that she will be a completely dysfunctional adult and spend half of her life and entire family fortune on appointments with her several different shrinks.

This one is better because it doesn't have as much of a chance of being scripted...90% of mtv's 'reality' is total bull anyway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e59XIFU6oz0

:p

When a girl reaches 15 over here is like when a girl reaches 16 in the States. Parties happen everywhere, it's sorta like a significant date "the almost adulthood" but it is pretty much an excuse for partying. Oh and a quinceañera is basically a girl who is turning 15.

So do your quinciwhatevers go on MTV and whine like spoiled little brats too? :D

NO thank god! They basically just make parties and everyone gets drunk and whatever. But no cars, no "queen" entrances, no pop-stars or all that BS. Just have a good time with your friends and enjoy your "quince".

MTV is definitely a crappy network and has been for some time now. My question... is this "art" imitating life or vice versa? Which is coming first in our culture? ;)

I think that with the unfortunate rise in fame of Jailbird Hilton, all the stupid little bratty girls want to be like her, all rich and spoiled, and MTV decided to cash in and make a reality show. Then again, kids have always been spoiled, but only until recently has the media actually begun to give a damn about it

I miss the days of music, Beavis and Butthead and Ren and Stimpy on MTV :(
