The wire that hooks into it is a really tight fit. I'm afraid of tugging hard considering the G5 is all aluminum and I can do some serious damage to myself. :eek:

So any advice? Besides just snapping it off with some scissors. :rolleyes:

Try a plastic spudger. If you don't own one try a plastic picnic knife and stick it under the wire and pry it up gently.
 
I didn't have either, but my dad was able to do it. :D

Took a few tries to get it in the iMac's slot, but I finally got it the third time around! I'm wireless as I post this! :D :D :D
