ok, made a site in photoshop. sliced it up in image ready. took it into dreamweaver and tweaked it to my liking. added drop downs, search bar, etc. now its ready to be made into a template. so i went, "save as template" so now i have this index.dwt (a template file). now, i created several pages from that template (htm files). in dreamweaver if i were to mess with index.dwt (the template) and then save it.. it would prompt me like, "do you want to make changes to all the files you made from this template". if you click yes, it makes changes super easy bc you can change stuff across the board just by changing your template. with mine.. i make a change to my template and it doesnt prompt me. just saves the template. so i dunno what im doing wrong. i made editable regions and everything.

anyone mind telling me what im doing wrong?

Just to make sure, did you check the HTML code of the first line of the files that are created from the template that they are referencing the correct file?

How about refreshing the site cache?

Try: Modify->Templates->Update Pages...

Have you moved any of the files? I am unsure if DM checks for that or not but its worth a shot.
