I’m having weird AirPlay issues on my ATV4k 2nd Gen

First, when using my AirPods Max, the crown will not let me turn the volume to it’s highest point unless I spin it an extra amount. It just sort of bobs there around 75%. It’s only when watching content in the TV app or Netflix etc, never on the menus

Second, I can not use any HomePod as speaker when the Apple TV is on a wired connection. It’ll play for about 2 seconds then it just freezes.

Any ideas?
