I'm jailbroken, can I upgrade directly to 4.0.2?

Guys,

A small question, I'm jail broken right now, and is the possible that i can straight forward upgrade to the new version, losing the jailbreak. Or do i have to restore then upgrade?

Don't update. You'll lose your jailbreak. The update only patches what made the jailbreak possible. If you want to lose your jailbreak it's best to restore and set up as new phone, then update to 4.0.2

I jailbroke mine and updated today. Everything is gone, except for the Make it Mine name change. It was unaffected

If I update, I'll lose the jailbreak, that's okay, but not glitches right? The apps which i Installed a Cydia will just disappear, am i right? Setting up as a new phone, i kinda dont want to lose my messages and all stuff.
