I’m not sure which way to proceed

I'm interested in buying a 12" MacBook, but i find myself unsure wether I want to buy one new, refurbished, or used on eBay. I’m leaning towards used because I don’t have a lot of money. Should I emphasize newer MacBook releases? How significant are the differences between each of the three releases?

I intend on using it primarily for learning and a little bit of wow on low settings.

If I was you I would wait until Apple updates them later this year, they are due at least a spec update. Outside of that it really depends on you’re budget, people in the forum have said that Apple do good refurbished models.
