I got to this instant messaging thing ATT has for customer service. I don't know how much we can trust this, but here's what went down:

ME: if I do purchase a Bold, would I be able to switch the SIM cards if I wanted to use my iPhone to say, watch a movie or something?

Karen L.: Yes you would be able to add your sim card to the new phone.

ME: and switch back to the iPhone as needed for multimedia purposes?

Karen L.: Yes you can.

I'm guessing if both phones are from AT&T (and i presume locked to said network) then whats the surprise?

where was the doubt that you could do this?

the sad thing is, if you bought an iphone and your contract is not up yet, youre going to be shelling out about 500 bones for a new blackberry bold.

I heard if you switched they would bang you the $30 for the iPhone data plan on top of the BB data.

I'm due for an upgrade so after the rebate it's only $299.
