Hello,
So let me start off by saying what a site you guys have here. It's amazing. I just recently got a Snow iMac G3. It's 600mhz, 1gig of ram. I'm running 10.4 Tiger and I love it. Now before you go and say, why such a old mac. I'm a broke highschool student so that was my only alternative. I'm not a teen who gets his parents to buy everything for him. I've worked for everything I've ever gotten and the same goes with the iMac. I'm going to start saving up for a new one but I had to get a start somewhere right. I just knew that I had to get off that god awful thing they call Windows Vista. I will never go back. Never!

I too embrace you with open arms.

In an non-threatening manner too.

I know what it is to earn everything that you have.

There is no life-experience like it.

If you are happy with Tiger on an old iMac G3 just wait until you buy a modern Mac. Welcome to Mac and Macrumors!

Welcome!

I'm a new Mac user from 11/2 ago. I then bought a iPhone. Next a Mac Book for my daughter. It never ends.

Welcome to the boards and to the Mac user fam. This is the best place in the world to get help and now you're on the best platform to boot! Settle in, see you around.

Melrose, you didn't happen to see that phrase on another site, did you? The apple a day one?

I ask, since I created that exact phrase on a gaming site a few months ago under another name.

I've been using that phrase with my friends and family for ages now. I came up with it myself shortly after I started having Windows problems, ooh, about seven years ago.

I didn't rip it from anyone, if that answers the question at hand. I added the trademark symbol for strictly comedic purposes. Using corporate names as an actual trademark like that would be illegal.

Guess I should use a PM or something for that kind of thing eh?

Back on topic: Welcome to MacRumors! :)

Yes.

Oh my, I have just noticed that I have graduated from 6205a, to a full 65816.

I would like to thank my parents, and my posting coach, and, yes, all my fans too.

God bless you all.

Congratulations! I too worked to get my first Mac, as I had been wanting one so bad. It feels good to have that kind of independence and pride. Even if you can't afford a new Mac yet, it's still a great lesson in responsibility. Welcome to Macrumors and I hope we can help you with whatever you need. :)
