My mac is still on Leopard 10.5, I use google chrome as my main browser but it now says chrome will no longer update for 10.5. Which I'm guessing means less safety and it'll slow down eventually.
What browser do you suggest I use instead?
Not a huge fan of safari, how about fire fox?

Also, is it really THAT recommend to just go out and buy Snow Leopard just for the reason of using Chrome? (I don't care about updated features)

Snow leopard is only $30, and even if you don't care about the updated features, upgrading will probably be the best thing for your Mac, as Snow leopard has security enhancements, is more stable, and is fully supported by Apple right now.

As for the browsers, I suppose if you really want to stay with Leopard, you can use Firefox, as it still is supported.

Snow Leopard is fully supported by Apple right now, but they might decide to drop support for it once Mountain Lion is released later this month.
