I'm on pb 18.1, would I have a problem buying a 16 Pro on 18.0.1?

I thought I read this somewhere but can't find it now. If I buy a 16 Pro on 18.0.1, and I do NOT want to be on any betas on the new device, will I have issues switching over? If so, that means I can't really switch until after 10/28 right?

You can’t migrate 18.1 to 18.0.1, no. Doesn’t mean you can’t switch - you’ll still have all your iCloud data etc… just have to manually reinstall any apps.

Thanks. If I remember the process, I'd just set it up by signing into my iCloud but I'd have to sort out the apps and settings on my own, right?

I'm not in too much of a hurry, but it's heavy on my mind. My 11 Pro's storage is running low but other than that, it does what I need with no problems. And that price tag stings a bit.

I just wanted to make sure about the iOS part of it.

I would just get your 16 Pro on the betas, then after 18.1 RC is released, just turn Betas off. Not worth the hassle of rebuilding from scratch to be beta free for a couple of weeks.
