Im Paranoid about my Resets! please confirm!

I am getting ready to sell my iPhone 3G and thru the phone itself, I seleted 'Erase All Contents and Settings' So off the loading went and now it's back to 'No Sim Installed' screen with the USP to iTunes.

Since I did not do it thru iTunes restore, is this still fine? I just want confirmations from you guys! And make sure everything in the iPhone 3G is wiped cause i have important info. in there that's has already been transfer to my 3G S.

Am I good to let the iPhone 3G go?
