I'm a PC user thinking of making the switch to Mac, and my only use of it that requires more than normal power is audio editing/mixing and such in programs like Logic. Does the standard sound (card or integrated?) in the MBP or even the iMac do the job for such an application, or do I have to buy a third party card to get comparable performance to, say, a Sound Blaster Audigy card (just for comparison's sake; I'm not saying they're great.)

Thanks for the help.

Like all Macs, the soundcard is integrated.

For mixing, it sounds like you'd be better off getting an external FireWire controller.
