Check that out. If nobody has ever heard of mydeathspace, it's basically an obituary for people with myspace. It's really interesting but really sad at the same time to see all those people smiling in their myspaces... dead. :(

Not for the weak of heart.

what do you guys think?

unfortunate, yes. scary, no

death is a part of life and we will each experience for our own one day. i dont think it is the end though personally (i dont want to start a religious debate)

Yea I agree with you man that death is nothing to be scared of but it is just really sad seeing all those normal people who very well could be you in the future smiling and having fun in their pictures. Knowing they are dead is just sad I mean when I look at old pictures of my reletives and friends that are now dead I just cry death is probably the only thing I ever cry about, I mean one time I got mugged and almost faced death and I didn't cry but as soon as I found out that a good friend of mine died from a seizure I started crying in class because that's where I found out about it.

I even cried when Bernie Mac died. :(

this site has been around for a couple years now.. what makes it so intriguing to me is reading all the comments left after they have died.. because people dont always let others know how much they mean to them and how special they are until after theyre gone.. it makes you want to reach out to everyone important to you before its too late..

That's why this facebook/myspace stuff is a bit odd.

Myspace sucks anyway. I can't ever make my way around the pages.

You've been dying since the day you were born. You just don't realize it until you hit 30-40, assuming you live that long.

A girl from secondary school died a few months back, it was kind of strange seeing all the Facebook status thingies saying "RIP name" and all that. Had a good idea of who it was so I kept checking her Facebook page. And yea. It's like she's still there in a way. Nothing has been updated (other than wall posts) hinting at her demise.
Suppose they can't exactly stamp a big "deceased" note.

Think its quite a good idea, people die all the time but its good to see their life is noted, I'm comparing to celebs and public figures who get pages of tributes.

Surprised there were allot of deaths from shootings.

I wouldn't describe that as scary, no... It's basically an online obit service, other than this you can read them in the newspaper.

The saddest story on there was the 15 year old girl who did suicide months after she was raped. :(

Why must people harm each other?!?!?!

...and here I thought you were going somewhere else with this.

judging by the website name and the thread title, I was thinking more along the lines of "Go here and your death will be predicted based on your myspace id"

lol. either way, still morbid.
I wouldn't go there to read obits if someone paid me.
