Heaven or Hell
I am selling my 1 year old MacBook Pro with all my apps on it.

My Question is i have old passwords and a Web Bank key file on the computer!

I would like to erase all this vital info before i sell the laptop!

Is there a way to keep the apps on there like Photoshop etc.....but erase all the personal info like keychains and personal stuff ?

cheers , FF

Yeah, but the safest bet is to do a complete reformat of the machine (possibly with some writing passes) and then supply the new owner with the Photoshop discs so they can install and register the product themselves.

I think almost all of the personal information is usually stored in the users home directory. So deleting the user and his home directory and creating a new user might do what you want. However the safest way to go is to do what Mad Jew suggested.

And sell it this week while it's still the current model (if rumors are to be believed).
