the screen is on these very expensive IPAD PROS. Coming from the spectacular AMOLED screen on my Samsung galaxy tablet, its mindboggling that apple has been getting away with these iPad dreck screens, and that there's a cult of adoring these tablets.
Your shock is duly noted and I'm not sure what you're trying to bait here with that kind of comment but you'll have a better reception over at Android Central (I've had my account there since 2009 so I'm familiar with similar "discussions").

Q:

What lives under a bridge, and waits for unsuspecting Billy Goats?

Btw, I have those Samsung tablets and my 12.9 is far superior. This actually surprised me a bit. It's brighter with more even colors. Granted, the blacks are a little blacker on the Samsung. Kudos to them for that.

But this can go on and on. Just is funny to read posts like this. Especially with us waiting for an event. They come out then I think. :D

Just as were about to get Mini-LED screens on the iPad Pro? Have you not heard of the rumors?

I'm not BAITING anything. I just bought a2020 pro 12" and a 2020 pro 11" because I wanted to go ipad after many years. And was just expressing my surprise about how inferior the iPad screens are next to the Samsung. Don't get all huffy.

I just bought two new iPad pros and compared the screens to my galaxy.no troll here just offering my opinion. Yes, I was surprised at the iPad screen quality.

Color accuracy?
Brightness?
Black levels?
Pixel density?

Is it because they didn’t completely blow out and unrealistically over-saturate every color that’s displayed?

I have a doubt, from which Samsung tab are you coming from
honestly, I used to use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S1 and I switched to apple as their software support was amazing and the apps were really good, that too I went for the cheapest iPad(5th gen) in 2017, and yes the display on them is awful cause of the delamination gap but then I've tried and used the 2018 and 2020 Pro's and honestly they have a really good screen
I get it amoled is superior to LCD but then you have to keep in mind that Apple is a company that sold a $749 phone with a really good quality LCD whereas competitors are struggling to keep up with the color accuracy in their OLED Panels
I'm not an Apple Sheep like the others, I love all my tech products equally, but there is something good with Apple's Displays always even if its LCD
take a look at the Mac, can you complain that they have an LCD in it, you can but then others are doing worse than apple in that space

Samsung’s screens are terrible, makes everything cartoony by just over saturating and not real to life at all. So watching any movie is out of the question.

Had multiple Samsung devices and it always annoys me how bad the colour accuracy is.

Somehow some people likes the over saturation though, the same way people love the cheap headphones or speakers that just have a lot of bass (but a loose crappy one).

What's this comparison based on, something quantitative that can actually be measured, or just your opinion? If it's just your opinion, is it based on any expertise you might actually have in judging panel quality, or are you just picking the one that looks prettier to you?

And for that reason you’re presenting such a balanced and fact-based argument... I‘m shocked - SHOCKED - but here we go (again):

Nychot, at Cornell University they have an incredible piece of scientific equipment known as the tunneling electron microscope.

Now, this microscope is so powerful that by firing electrons you can actually see images of the atom, the infinitesimally minute building blocks of our universe.

Nychot, if I were using that microscope right now, I still wouldn't be able to locate my interest in your opinion. Thank you for your post.

Thank god you knew this ahead of time and probably have a nice two week return window.

I am shocked, so very shocked that you’re shocked and mindboggle 🤯. Apple screens are very good in my opinion. So what they’re not Amoled screens. That doesn’t mean Amoled screens are spectacular either. Very good, but not spectacular, that’s not the word I would use.
