I posted this in the video forum but I think really it goes here.

What I want is a low-cost but still decent lav mic. It is just for voice to be used for instructional videos and interviews.

It needs to be wired and fit the 1/8" mic jack in the camcorder. I just bought a cheap Audio-Technica microphone and it's going back to the store. The level was WAY to low.
