After two weeks with the 17pro, i decided to stick with my 15 pro and send back the 17 pro.

I am not using a case. At all. So the titanium is a great option for me.
I prefer the x3 lens and the main camera is the same!

I think I wait to the folded one 🤪

Welcome to Macrumors! My wife and I decided to stay with our 15 Pro Maxes. Last night we got the battery on my wife's 15 Pro Max replaced at the Apple Store (was a fairly pleasant experience). Those Airs are really thin!

I love to read so a foldable iPhone interests me from the perspective of being able to read and be mobile with just one device - but I bet it'll be the most expensive iPhone ever. Wonder if it'll come next year or the year after! I have a friend with a foldable Samsung phone and they really like it - they've had several generations.

May i ask how much did you pay for the replacement? And the battery health is decoded again?

Same here

I ain’t even going to lie aluminum is a downgrade from titanium

We all get good cameras and Apple Intelligence, holding it off until unsupported and doing battery swaps every few years is better imo

No reason to stay with 15 pro max when my upgrade offer for 256GB is $269.
Either pay for a $100 battery, or just go net-new contract deal, sell the phone for an Apple gift card profit.

$108.27 after local and state taxes. $99 before. It was from Apple so the health shows 100% and 0 cycles. Took about 45 minutes.
What was your battery % at on your 15 Pro Max? Mine is at 87% and it’s terrible.

Do you notice an improvement with battery life since the replacement?

My wife's was 84% - but we found out her Belkin stand was basically roasting her phone every night that she charged it - so I replaced it with a cable - expecting to get better life out of her new battery.

She's noticing she has to charge it a lot less now. She didn't even charge it to 100% this morning and at 1pm it's still at 78%. Big improvement - and all for $99. :D

My 15 Pro Max - due to my desk job, is still at 102%+ battery health and only 196 cycles. :p

What was the battery health before it was replaced? My iPhone 12 Pro is at 82% (it's been that way since I purchased it about 18 months ago) and I have been contemplating replacing it ($89 before tax at Apple).
In Apple Battery health, it was showing 84% but CoconutBattery was showing 86%. She did have 550+ cycles. She's a heavy user tho - and often had to charge her phone at least once a day.

I'm lucky if I use 15-20% of my battery per day (on my heaviest).

I could have easily kept my 15 PM and sent the Air back. A couple of things such as the speed, less screen reflectivity and new phone romance have me keeping the Air.

I'm sticking with my 12 Pro Max, because I don't see much point in getting the newer model. Granted, some of the safety features in the newer models (automatic distress calls if you're in a car crash) are temping, if they work as advertised, and that's an if. But even then, the better option might be to get an Apple Watch with the new safety features, and keep using the iPhone I have.
