I'm stumped - How do I find 'Advanced' setting for mail?

apparently all my iCloud e-mail now gets deleted after 7 days in the trash, just for fun, and I can change that but I don;'t have this option:

apple tells me "vChecking your iPad and iPhone settings is a great place to start. If you use a third-party provider, you will find that by going to Settings > Mail > Accounts > [Account name], then tap on the account name again and Advanced"

but after I click my Account Name, it just takes me into my
Name, Phone Numbers, E-mail
Password & security
etc.

No where to find "advanced"

It's a setting on your Mac, not iPhone or iCloud web site. Open Mail on your Mac and go to menu Mail > Settings > Accounts (not menu Mail > Accounts .. this is different) > select the account on the left. Then select the "Mailbox behaviors" tab. You'll see the option "Erase deleted messages". Select your preference.

Settings>Mail>Accounts>iCloud>iCloud>iCloud mail>iCloud mail settings>Advanced

It's there on both my iPhone and iPad.
