During that day, everyone was freaking out who ordered a 6 that they made a mistake. The 6+ was just so much "bigger" and usually bigger is better. It seems like something akin to this is happening today. It took months for the ratios to figure themselves out (which I think stand at 2 6's sold for every 6+ sold).
I don't know if history will repeat itself (I tend to believe it will be around 50/50 when the dust settles) but I do find it interesting. Apple stuff costs a lot and none of us want to make a mistake.
