im trying to burn my entire itunes library to a blank dvd

But when it tells me to put the disc in , i put it in and then it saids checking media . Then thats it . nothing else happens . no sign that said anything like canot do it or done backing up . So wtf ? Im trying to get my itunes library to my new mac . Thanks
