I type in my address and it ask for user name and pass. I put in my macbook login name and pass and I can't connect.

I'm trying to FTP into my MacBook Pro and I'm have real issues.

If you set up an FTP server on your MacBook, you should also have set up an FTP account. It isn't by default the same as your login to the computer.
