we bought a Apple G3 Imac for my brother
who wanted to see what it was like to have an older mac.

The problem we have is trying to get the internet
on it,
we have wireless in the house
and a dongle from tmobile

does anyone know how to set this up if possible.

Thanks for your help guys.

The T-mobile connection will be dead slow, so WLAN is what you want to use. The above link is just one of many. You want a USB WLAN adapter and it needs to be Mac compatible. With you having USB 1.1, G really isn't needed, but can't hurt so that you don't make a G network in a B network when the machine is on.

RE: imac 10.2.4 help

As an aside, you might consider hunting down a copy of OS 10.3.x "Panther", perhaps on ebay.

10.3 was a big improvement over 10.2, and should run on the old iMac without problems....

Mind, whichever you do, you'll want to run software update to get to 10.2.8 at LEAST.

i can't as i cant get it connected to internet, not evan from ethernet.
for can i download this from apple site and then put on a disc
and install from that?
