I just got my new iMac 17" 1Ghz in today. I was checking the specs of the superdrive, and its a Sony DVD RW DW-U10A. Searches on google say its the new drive that supports both DVD-R and DVD+R, and it burns CD's at 24X (contrary to the 16X on apples website) I was just wondering if anyone else who had this model could verify these findings.
