iMac 2.0ghz intel C2D memory

I want to upgrade from 1G to 2G of memory for my iMac. Apple memory costs a crap load and i'm sure it's no different then other ram. What's a great brand that doesn't cost as much but works just as well, if not better, for my iMac?
