Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and also to iMac world. So I dont have a lot of experiences with iMac's and upgrading.

I have an iMac 20" 2007 year with graphic card ATI 2400xt and it isnt working anymore.
The computer boots up, the light in display is working, but no image - even if I plug it to TV.

So right now I am looking for used but working graphic card ATI 2400XT, but they are extremly expensive!
But I found one "cheap" nVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB 1680 x 1050 from iMac 20" 2009.

My question is, can i buy 9400M and put it in instead of ATI 2400XT? Will it work? Can there be any complications?

I also tried to search other threads here, but didnt find anything similar.
