Hallo guys, I just bought an IMac early 2009, for sure I’ll upgrade with an ssd and 8 gb ram. I have some doubts.
Will be possible use GarageBand and fl studios? I just need to do that, I need to play my midi keyboard with GarageBand and use fl studio to make audio editing in multi channel. Also use something like Microsoft Word to write. I don’t care about video editing and other stuff.
Now my question is : is it possible do that with my Mac 20 early 2009, Do I need to use Catalina or I can use GarageBand and fl studio with El Capitan? Thanks for reply

Your 2009 iMac is limited to highest version: 10.11 - El Capitan OS X.
Garageband can be found if you look for a iLife 09 installer CD.
Older version of Microsoft Office 2008 or 2011 would work.

Don't know anything about Midi or music stuff....
