Hi,
I just upgraded my white 2006 iMac core duo with a 2.33ghz core 2 duo chip and and 256mb Samsung SSD. I cloned the old hard drive to new using disk utility before the upgrade and booted from the new drive via USB successfully.
After the upgrade I nervously switched on and got the apple logo, then it switched off. I booted into my snow leopard disk and check the profiler, it registered my core 2 duo at the correct speed. In disk utility it picked up the new SSD but says it has an invalid node structure that it can't repair.
Booted fine as an external USB drive, so is it a Failed SSD or something else gone wrong during the upgrade?
Thanks!
