Hello!
I tried searching for this on the community and internet, many of the topics were old and no solution was given.
I have an iMac (2009) that can't read a Digital Copy DVD (Immortals 2011 release) I just purchased.
When I put the DVD in, sometimes it reads it and spits it out in 30 seconds, others it makes a really loud noise, and usually it always gets stuck and can't be ejected. That is, there is no DVD icon on my desktop for my to "eject" as if there's 'nothing' in the DVD drive.
*I popped in The Hunger Games Digital Copy and DVD drive also spit it right out.
Anyone know why this is happening?
Do I need a firmware update?
When I go into disk utility, I don't even see my Superdrive loaded, only drive I see is my harddrive.
I'm running OS 10.7.5 at the moment.
I opened iTunes, put in the DVD and still nothing is happening and the disc can't be ejected unless I restart my iMac and hold down F12.
I would be so grateful for any help on this matter.
