Imac 2010 and Apple TV (Jailbroken)

Hello

I watch alot of netflix and Hulu and plug in a cable from my imac to my tv to watch it.

I do this by using the tv as a second display and dragging the browser over to the tv. I do this as I use the hola extension on chrome to unblock my location settings for these accounts.

I am worried about the wear and tear of plugging cables in and out.

What does a jail broken apple tv offer? Can I stream netflix via hola on my imac and send this to my tv via apple tv?

Is it possible to watch US netflix (from the UK) using apple tv?
