OK, I figure there are going to be others who have this issue since it occurs even after a reinstall. I have a 2010 iMac 27" and when resuming from sleep in Windows 8 RTM (I have MSDN so I am legally using it) the keyboard stops working. Once you use the onscreen keyboard to issue a shutdown or restart it will not fully shut down and BSOD on the next restart. The only solution to this so far that I have found is to disable sleep entirely. If anyone else has the same issue please let me know especially if you have found a fix!
