Hi there,

i want to order an actuall iMac with the option of a 256GB SSD and 2 TB HDD.

Do anyone know which Brand of SSD will Apple actuall built in ? Is it a Sata 2 or Sata 3 one?

i don´t wanna built in a SSD drive myself.

i´m asking because last year apple builts a Toshiba Sata 2 SSD. So i thought maybe apple have changed now the model

Not sure if they changed what drive they install at the factory since they were first released, but you're right...my 2011 iMac w/ 256Gb/2TB that I ordered on release day has a Toshiba SATA-II SSD. I bet they're still using the same SSDs.
