iMac 2011 ram upgrade

Hi,
I just bought x2 4GB DDR3 1066mhz pieces of ram. My imac currently has its standard x2 2GB ddr3 1333mhz. Can someone help me answer this question. Can i put my 4GB 1066mhz in the mac as additional ram?

P.S its iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011)
