iMac 2011 Restore Help

I need help guys, A friend of mine just got installed in his 2011 iMac a new 3TB HD and A SSD, We backed up his old HDD and now we want to configure the imac to boot from SSD and have all his files on the 3tb, how can this be achieve, we also backed up his old hd to time machine.
