iMac 2011, Windows 8, EFI-Boot and external soundcard

I have sucessfully installed Windows 8 with EFI-Boot, but the known problem is the not working soundcard of my iMac. Have installed the bootcamp drivers and read the hassel about getting the soundcard to work.

So, instead, is it possible, to get an external soundcard or DAC to work?

Yes, it works, the Pro-Ject Box connected with USB to my iMac, no driver needed, only configured sound device.Hooray, i have my sound back !
