iMac 2012-How long should I wait?

Wondering how long I should wait for apple to work out manufacturing flaws in the new imac 2012.

I know that it is impossible to answer this question precisely, but looking at apples historical track record, how long does it take to work the manufacturing defects down to a minimum?

This will be my first apple computer.

I am also in the queue. I am going to wait until the start of next year before ordering. Not going to buy something which is not proven yet, especially for that price.

I think they've already manufactured quite a lot of them!

I just received mine and it is mint .. no issues .. but i guess if you want to wait i would wait till middle of january .. by then the people who have finally received them will start reporting issues if they have any
