As title says above.

Just bought a new imac and to my surprise I can't put CDs on so everything needs to be done witht External Hard Drive or USB.

Saw some tutorials about how to install windows on external but I have no luck.
I followed the first steps downloaded windows support software etc with bootcamp.

But when i'm about to install windows on macintosh hd, it says please Enter disc etc etc...

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I just did this two days ago, and it worked like a charm.

I extracted the ISO from my Win 7 disc, I used a PC to do this. I put the ISO on my USB stick. When I put the USB stick into the iMac, I transferred the ISO file to my Documents folder. I then took the USB stick to the PC and deleted the ISO file (OSX wouldn't delete it ~ probably something I did wrong). Then I put the USB stick back into the iMac, launched bootcamp, and followed the instructions. Went without a hitch.

Can you take a pic of what it's asking, a pic of the entire screen please?
