iMac 2013 to iPhone 11 pro

Can anyone tell me the best way to connect my iphone 11 pro to my late 2013 iMac the phone is not showing up when connected through the normal usb lightning cable and there’s not a usb C port on the back of the Mac ?

Is there another lightning cable you can try? It should work, though you need to unlock your phone and trust it first.
