I just found out that my 27in imac display got damaged during the the process of taking it off and upgrading SSD in which the display developed a blank column.
I didn't know how easy to damage by not using the correct tools ummm..feel so bad, is there a way to fix and safe this display under $200?

Probably not.
This is why I recommend that folks who want to upgrade their drives do so with an EXTERNAL USB3 SSD instead of opening the case.

Many folks who thought they could do the job, give it a try and end up with... problems such as you see above.

Now it's going to cost some money.

Your only solution is a display replacement sadly. I doubt you could legally obtain a display for under $200.
