Hey all

Ok, I have ordered a couple of 32gb DDR4 2666mhz modules for my 2019 iMac (this is the recommended mhz speed).

At the same time, work has ordered me a couple of 32gb DDR4 3200mhz modules.

All of them are Crucial.

Question will the extra MHZ on two of the 32gb have a negative impact on my iMac or will all four play nicely with each other?

Cheers

Del

Assuming they work. They'll downclock to match the speed of your other RAM. Unless that speed is not supported. Then they may all downclock to a speed and timing they all support. If these are all listed as compatible by Crucial. They should all work. But they will only work at a common speed.
