iMac 2020 + iMac Late 2013 External Display

Hello!
I have:
- iMac 2020 with Big Sur 11.3.1 system
- iMac late 2013 with Catalina 10.15.7 system
- MacBook Pro

I am trying to use my iMac 2013 as external display on my iMac 2020. Unfortunately iMac 2020 doesn't recognise any additional displays, whatever I do. I am using thunderbolt 2 cable with 2 > 3 adapter to connect both.

The weird thing is when I try to connect it to my MacBook Pro with the same cable and same adapter everything works smoothly.

What may be the cause?

From what I can find Apple dropped support for connecting to these older Macs with 2019 models.

Use your iMac as a display with target display mode - Apple Support

Target display mode is a feature available with certain older Mac models.

That's a shame. Is there possibly any third party solution that will allow me to use my 2013 iMac as external display in my 2020 iMac?
